XpressBet Live is an online handicapping tournament that challenges players to pick winners in ten (10) mandatory races. Players will be ranked according to total mutuel payoffs in mandatory races.
There is a $100 registration fee. Contest is limited to 400 players.
Players must make a single, $20 ‘live’ online win wager on one horse in each of ten (10) mandatory races ($200).
$10,000 in Guaranteed Cash Prizes will be awarded.
The top three finishers in XpressBet Live will earn seats in the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas.
The next two finishers in XpressBet Live will earn seats in Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.
The Top 30 finishers in XpressBet Live will earn complimentary seats to XpressBet’s $50,000 Showdown ($500 value each).
Registration for XpressBet Live will be limited to 400 players. XpressBet account holders only.
NHC Tour Points can be earned in XpressBet Live.

Registration
• $100 Online Registration fee required. Registration fee will be deducted from XpressBet wagering account at the time of registration. Registration fee is non-refundable.
• XpressBet Live is open to new and existing XpressBet account holders in good standing only.
• One entry per account holder only.
• Registration Begins Wednesday, March 4, 2009 (Register Early--Final Tie-Breaker is Time of Registration)
Format
• Online competition only. Phone wagers do not count in the competition.
• All competition wagers must be submitted via XpressBet Classic or Pro Contest Wager Pad only. Wagers submitted in any other manner will not count in the competition.
• Player must make single, 'live' $20 win wagers on one horse in each of 10 mandatory races. ($200 total). Omitted wagers or improperly submitted wagers will result in disqualification of player from competition.
• For tournament purposes mutuel payoffs are capped at 20-1 ($420).
• Player wagering accounts will be credited with winnings for all competition wagers and debited for all losing wagers.
• Do not Cancel Any Tournament Wagers. Cancellation of a tournament wagers will result in disqualification from the tournament. In the event one of your selections is scratched, wait until the scratch is listed on the Contest Wager Pad and then place a substitute wager on another horse in that race. Do not Cancel any Tournament wagers.
• Wagers on scratched horses earn zero in the competition. If a player notices that his horse is scratched in a particular race he may submit a single $20 ‘live’ win wager on another horse in that race via the Contest Wager Pad before wagering closes for that particular race. These wagers must be submitted via the XpressBet Contest Wager Pad. Please Note: The scratch of the original runner must appear on the XpressBet Contest Wager Pad before a wager on another horse in the race will be accepted. Do Not Cancel Any Wagers.

Qualifying Seat Prizes
• First, second and third-place finishers in XpressBet Live earn seats in the DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas.
• Fourth and fifth-place finishers in XpressBet Live earn seats in Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.
• The top 30 finishers in XpressBet Live earn free entry into XpressBet's $50,000 Showdown ($500 value each).
Please Note: A single player may only win a maximum of one DRF/NTRA qualifying seat and one Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series seat throughout XpressBet’s 2009 Tournament Schedule. A single player may not win more than one qualifying seat to either tournament.
If a player, who previously has qualified for a DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship seat or a Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series seat in any 2009 XpressBet handicapping tournament or in any other 2009 tournament, wins a duplicate seat to the identical tournament, that seat will go to the next highest qualified finisher and the awarding of tournament seats will be adjusted downward according to the standings.
