Qualifying Seat Prizes

First through Sixth-place finishers earn seats in the $1 million DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas.

Seventh through Tenth-place finishers earn seats in the estimated $1 million Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.

Please Note: A single player may only win a maximum of one DRF/NTRA qualifying seat and one Coast Casino’s Horseplayer World Series seat throughout XpressBet’s 2009 Tournament Schedule. A single player may not win more than one qualifying seat to either tournament.

If a player, who previously has qualified for a DRF/NTRA or Coast Casino’s seat in any 2009 XpressBet handicapping tournament or in any other 2009 tournament, wins a duplicate seat to the identical tournament, that seat will go to the next highest qualified finisher and the awarding of tournament seats will be adjusted downward according to the standings.

Ties:

First Tie Breaker: If two (2) or more players tie for a spot in the standings the player who selects the most winners in mandatory races will be awarded the higher placing.

Second Tie Breaker: If, after application of the first tie-breaker, two or more players are still tied, the second tie-breaker will go to the player with the highest single mutuel payoff in mandatory races.

Third Tie Breaker: If, after application of the second tie-breaker is applied, two or more players are still tied, the third tie-breaker will go to the player with the second-highest mutuel payoff in mandatory races.

If two or more players are still tied, the process will continue next to the third-highest mutuel payoff, and then the fourth-highest mutuel payoff and so on in that fashion until the tie is broken through all mandatory wagers.

Final Tie Breaker: If, after all of the above Tie-Breaker procedures have been exhausted, two (2) or more players still remain tied for a position, the final tie-breaker will be decided by the date and time of the successfully completed tournament registration of such tied players. Player(s) will be ranked chronologically according to the date and time of their completed tournament registration. Positions and prizes will be awarded accordingly (earliest to latest).
