The tournament will be held on XpressBet.com Saturday, April 3 and will offer 3 seats to the 2011 DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship.

The winners are determined by the highest bankroll from qualified wagers. The top three finishers in HorsePlayer Magazine Handicapping Challenge will earn seats in the 2011 DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas, including lodging. Airfare is NOT included. NHC Tour Members may earn NHC Points.
REGISTRATION
- HorsePlayer Magazine Handicapping Challenge is open to new and existing XpressBet account holders.
- A non-refundable $200 registration fee is required and can be paid via the following methods:
- Deducted from registrant's XpressBet wagering account
- Paid with registrant's approved credit card on file with XpressBet
- Paid with registrant's approved ACH on file with XpressBet
- One entry per account holder
- Register early as seats will sell out quickly. XpressBet is not responsible for incomplete registration transactions.
FORMAT
- Player must wager a minimum of $80 on a minimum of 10 races. There is no maximum on the wager amount and there is no maximum on the number of races that can be played.
- All wagers will be accepted except for Multi-Race wagers such as Daily Double, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Pick 6, etc.
- Tournament wagers will be accepted on any of these six tracks: Santa Anita, Gulfstream, Keeneland, Oaklawn, Golden Gate, Aqueduct.
- Player wagering accounts will be credited with winnings for all competition wagers and debited for all losing competition wagers.
- All Tournament wagers must be submitted via the Contest Wager Pad. Wagers not submitted via the Contest Wager Pad will not count in the competition.
- Wagers placed by telephone do not qualify.
- There are no caps on payoffs.
- XpressBet will update the Leader Board within 5 minutes of the "Official" posting of each Contest Race.
TIES
- In the result of a tie for third place, ties will be broken based on the player with the biggest single race payoff during the Challenge. In the event a tie still exists, the winner will be the person who registered first. Only a total of three entries to the National Handicapping Championship will be given away.
PRIZES
- First through Third-place finishers will earn seats in the $1 million 2011 NTRA/DRF National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas plus tournament lodging. Airfare is NOT included.
- NHC Tour Members may earn NHC tour points.
Please Note: A single player may only win a maximum of one DRF/NTRA NHC qualifying seat during XpressBet’s 2010 Tournament Schedule.
If any player, who previously had qualified for a DRF/NTRA NHC seat in any 2010 XpressBet handicapping tournament (or in any other 2010 tournament), wins a duplicate seat to the NHC tournament, the seat will go to the next highest qualified finisher and the awarding of tournament seats will be adjusted according to the standings.
