Golden Gate Fields has a $15,030 Rainbow 6 carryover into this week’s racing, Thursday through Sunday … Princess Vivian, winner of the 2019 Bear Fan Stakes, headlines a Friday Race 7 allowance in her 5-year-old debut … The Golden Hour Double and Pick Four, combining the final races each day at GGF and sister track Santa Anita, will be available Saturday and Sunday this weekend during Santa Anita’s 2-day racing week … Nominations for the Feb. 13 El Camino Real Derby, Northern California’s key steppingstone to the Triple Crown, will close on Feb. 4.
With the Friday cancellation at Santa Anita, it’s a Gulfstream-heavy Stronach 5 this week. Stronach 5 races this Friday, January 29, will be:

1/ST BET Top Factors Last Week:
Horseplayers using the 1/ST BET app saw the most success with these 3 of the 52 handicapping filters for Golden Gate Fields, each posting at least 32% winners and a flat-bet profit. For the second straight week, both Lifetime Earnings & Speed Last Race were top factors.

-- Trainer Andy Mathis was on point at 4: 2-1-1 (all on the main track), including 3: 2-1-0 with favorites. He also had a 10-1 proposition bottom the trifecta.
-- Trainer Jose Bautisa won with both starters he sent out, netting $6 and $16 returns. Both victories came in main track miles. The barn is now 4: 2-2-0 at the meet.
-- Trainer Blaine Wright’s runners were 6: 2-3-1 without a misstep. All of his runners were 5-1 or less and including $6 and $9 winners.
-- Jockey Kyle Frey rode 21 of the 25 races last week and posted a 21: 6-2-4 mark. He’s now 16: 8-2-4 aboard favorites at the meet.
