Woodbine Mohawk Park starts the night with the poplar 0.20 Pick 5 with a $100,000 guaranteed pool. The 0.20 Early Pick 4 begins in Race 4, and that sequence will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 4

2-Sports Report (4-1)-Steps-up off a near miss in a big effort. Will look for more with Roy back between the pipes and starting from post 2 instead of the 7 hole could help the cause.
5-Saulsbrook Victor (3-1)-Sizzled the back-half in 53.4 but broke last from post 6. That was the 1st start since 10-30 and should be tighter tonight. Using and hoping Victor isn't in another zip code after the wings close.
7-That's A Beach (7/2)-Graduates from the "B" tracks after winning 3 in a row handily, the last coming from the 2nd tier. Henry will do the steering and the Mcintosh barn has been posting winners at a 23% clip over the last 30 days.

Race 5

2-Crosscut (9/2)-Has only 1 win in 18 Wbsb starts so that is cause for pause but can close in a hurry. Drops, could get an efficient trip from this post and with a sharp steer might surprise at a solid price.
3-Intrigued Again (3-1)-Has a win and then put forth a huge effort taking the long way around while being parked out and still finished 2nd. JMac takes the lines and should be a major player.
7-Machdavid (7/2)-Will toss last in the snow and is in the hunt for top honors with a return to the form of the previous 3 efforts.

Race 6

4-Okie From Muskogee (3-1)-That was a gutsy try off a tough trip to win last week at even money. Draws well and chances for an encore are within reach.
6-Thatll Be Sporty (5/2)-Beat this kind easily two back and was in tough last week. Returns to the level of recent success and it's best to respect.

Race 7

7-Harry (10-1)-Will take a swing for a big price with this camera shy 3-year-old who makes his 3rd start on Lasix. Slow starter may try a different plan with Jamieson steering for the 1st time. Will look for a more aggressive steer and to be closer to the lead at the top of the lane.
9-Truffles Too (5/2)-Comes off a dominate win at this level in the 1st local start. Should be out and rolling looking to make every call a winning one again. The post helps the price, and this isn't a field loaded with gate speed.
