My focus this evening will be on the Pick 4 at the Red Mile. The sequence begins in Race 6 and has a $10,000 guaranteed pool. The plan is for a formful result in the first leg and then for some prices to hit during the rest of the sequence.

On Wednesday the second night of the Lexington Select Sale, hip #239 Beautiful Sin a bay filly by Muscle Hill-Sina sold for a whopping $480,000. Through the opening three nights Beautiful Sin is the sales topper. The sale will conclude with an auction tonight and Saturday evening.

Race 6
5-Seviyorum-Verstaile, sharp 2 yr. old from the Miller barn, has a shot to knock off #7 the 9/5 ML chalk.
7-Basquiat-Winner of 5 of 7 for Takter, been racing well and deserves favorite status, will respect.

Race 7
2-Looking For Zelda-Consistent filly who shows good speed. But how well will she handle a 1-mile oval?
3-Strawberry Hanover-2-1 ML chalk off a 1.52.2 qualifier here. Short price and hasn't raced since 9-4.
7-Live Laugh Love-Can beat these if minds manners but breaking has been an issue.
9-Swing It Cathy-Still a maiden but has faced tough foes. Stays on stride and can add pop to ticket.

Race 8
1-Front Circle-Beaten chalk coming off a qualifier and gets regular driver back. Has a shot if stays flat.
2-Nixie Volo-2 straight breaks but before was fine. 12-1 in ML, Callahan sticks, interesting price shot.
4-Dab Hanover-5/2 ML chalk was sharp before a break in last. Will respect connections, big oval suits.
7-Sevenbuyeleven-Made last look easy and now Tetrick steers. If gets a good early seat chances go up.

Race 9
3-In The Dark-May get a trip with live cover flow. If so, can sweep by at a square price.
4-Ella Christina-6/5 in the ML, off an even effort but best can win this. Could benefit from a Lex start.
8-Bucklegirl Bobette-Price shot is consistent, shows 53.2 speed at Haw, a slower track, could surprise.
