Tonight, Pompano Park has a 13-race card set to go and the 0.50 Early Pick 4 starts in Race 6. The sequence has a $15,000 guaranteed pool with a 12% takeout, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6

4-American Vision (5-1)-This is a tough race to read and will take a swing for a decent price with this Holiday trainee. Could get a 2-hole trip behind the chalk and then take dead aim down the lane.
5-Rockin Mercedes (6/5)-Just missed versus this kind in last and was claimed by the Oakes barn. Looking for some improvement to seal the deal with Hennessey back between the pipes.

Race 7

2-Call Him Rocky (7/2)-Drew off versus easier in the slop to capture the 1st Pomp win in 4 tries. Probably won't be 3/2 tonight and does know how to take pictures. Did win 11 of 26 in 2021 with a 151.3 mark at ScD.
3- Ey Cowboy (4-1)-Has enough gate speed to be forwardly placed from the start. Should be a player with a good steer, hasn't been in this soft for months.
5-Little Admiral (5/2)-Drops to the lowest level of the meet in search of the 1st win of 2022 (0-5). Will respect chances versus this crew but a short price is tough to take off recent form.

Race 8

1-Lucid Dreams (3-1)-Looks like a player with needed post relief and could benefit from an efficient trip. Likes to get on the engine and MacDonald should get the top or the pocket.
3-Noahs Mill (5/2)-Drops to a spot to shine and Miller gets the call. Probably won't offer any value in a race that looks chalky.

Race 9

3-Andover Contessa (2-1)-Northfield regular gets a positive driver change in Miller and drops to a cushy spot looking for the first win this year (0-4). Should be dialed on high to take its 1st picture at the Pomp.
5-Oberto (9/5)-This 6-year-old burns a lot of money and has issues staying on stride. The 9/5 morning line chalk is 2-18 over the past 2 years and that says something about the depth of this field. Could shoot against but has cashed checks versus better than this bunch.
