Cal Expo completes the weekend with an 11-race card. The 0.20 Pick 4 begins in Race 8. The sequence has a $25,000 guaranteed pool with a 16% takeout, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 8

3-Cenalta Sunrise (3-1)-This looks like the mare with the best form in the field and will take a swing she can compete with the boys. Kennedy's choice over #4 should be in the hunt at the wire.
7-Urkillinmesmalls (10-1)-Stewart did a nice job last week and that was the 1st time between the pipes this meet. Paced the 2nd half in .57 without much help to finish a close 2nd. The last winner won't be around tonight.

Race 9

1-Dislocator (7/2)-Has been in the mix when dropped to this level in the last 2 starts. Should be a main threat but will need a trip.
5-Major Mac (2-1)-Steps-up after taking control and drawing off by over 4 lengths in 152.3. This will be a bigger test but will respect chances for a repeat.

Race 10

3-Captian Terminator (2-1)-Recent form has been dull but now Roland takes the lines, and he has been successful in the past. Also, returns to a spot to shine and history has shown pictures happen at this level.
4-Bettor In The Bank (9/2)-This veteran makes its 2nd start since 4-25-21 and last week's try was fine considering the time-off. Should be tighter and could get a pocket ride behind the one above.

Race 11

5-Crusin For You (5-1)-Hasn't been as sharp as the morning line choice but has been cashing checks at this class. Looks to be a cut above the others and Plano could have in striking range looking for the 1st win of the year.
8-Tink And Tiger (6/5)-Should be an odds-on choice again and the cause for pause is the post draw. But if Roland works a smooth trip it should lead to the 4th win in the last 5 starts.

0.20 Pick 4

3,7/1,5/3,4/5,8
Total Bet=$3.20
