The headliners on the Hoosier Park 13-race card are Indiana bred 3-year-old fillies competing in Sires Stakes action. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 rolls in Race 10, and the sequence will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 10

1-JK Victory (9/5)-Has started the year with 2 wins in 3 starts and this Burke trainee is the one to beat. Likes to get on the engine and not look back. This post draw should help chances for the 3rd straight picture.
5-Sure Thing Herman (7/2)-Loses Tetrick, but Widger can handle the assignment. Took the lead, made every call a winning one in last and stopped the clock in 149.2. Looks like the main contender.

Race 11

5-Voracity (9/2)-Team Petersen entry should like the company. Has cashed checks versus $50k and $65k claimers. Could win at a square price.
6-Bet Ninteen (4-1)-Dropped to this class last week and was used early to take control and finished 3rd. De Long may work a more efficient trip and the 2 that finished ahead aren't in this field.
9-Rock With JK (8/1)-Moves-up after coming 3rd from post 8. Tetrick steers this price shot who has failed in the last 2 tries after looking to wire the field. Thinking a different trip might be in the cards and there are no standouts in this group.

Race 12

3-RIP Wheeler (7/2)-Beaten odds-on chalk fell just short to the one below on 7-17 and hasn't missed the board in 8 starts this year.
4-The Longest Yard (3-1)-Took the lead and didn't give it up, but the opening half won't go in .57 tonight. Oosting should put this 3-year-old in play and has the speed to be a force versus this field.

Race 13

7-Beaumond Hanover (5/2)-Hasn't connected versus straight Open company but fits like a glove here. Past winner at this class from the 8-hole in the spring has won 5 of 16 races at HoP.
