The Meadowlands has a 14-race card scheduled with 4-year-olds taking center stage in Graduate Series action. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 begins in Race 11. The sequence has a $50,000 guaranteed pool, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 11

5-Linedrive Hanover (4-1)-Betting Line 4-year-old didn't race last year and has come back strong winning 11 of 14 starts in 2022. Battled the red-hot Jimmy Freight in the Gold Cup and will look for another big try in his M1 debut.
6-Bulldog Hanover (5/2)-It doesn't seem to matter where or what size oval Bulldog battles and wins more than his share. Has won 13 of the last 19, also makes his Big M debut and is razor sharp.

Race 12

1-Pink Coco Chanel (3-1)-Dunn is in the bike once again and the trip won't be worse than last week. Started from post 9, was parked the mile and was beaten by only a 1/2 length. Looking for another big try and a more favorable journey.
5-Peyton Hanover (7/2)-Recent form has been dull but Tetrick grabs the lines tonight and he has posed with this well-bred filly. Needs a more determined effort but comes back in sequence for a change and this is a ++ driver change so will look for improvement.

Race 13

1-Somebaddude (4-1)-This 7-year-old gets the services of Tetrick and has won 8 of 31 starts at M1. Returns to East Rutherford and should race near the top of the stack so best to not overlook.
2-Shake That House (3-1)-Won at this level and then was bumped up, drew the 8 post and that didn't work well. Was off 2 weeks before the last start and had a dull try. Now drops back to the level of the last win and picks-up Dunn, should be a main player.

Race 14

4-Theflyingrock (3-1)-Takes on better after posting 2 wins in 1.50 and 149.2 at Phl. Gingras steers, which should help this Per Engblom trainee who could be a good one.
5-Leon David (4-1)-Gets a positive driver change in Mark MacDonald, takes a meaningful drop and could offer a square price. This smells like a drop, and pop situation.
