Tonight, Running Aces has an 8-race program set to go. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 with a $5,000 guaranteed pool starts in Race 5, and the sequence will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 5

3-CR Promise To You (7/2)-Getting on the engine and going to the 3/4's in 127 is simply too fast now for this filly. Faded down the lane and it wasn't a surprise. Should be able to get control and not empty the tank, can be a player with a smart steer.
4-Poko Loki (9/2)-Not sure what kind of speed this 3-year-old can flash but does have the desire to keep grinding. If #3 can't be rated chances for a picture increase.
5-Need More Cowbell (5-1)-Hasn't had the best of trips in the last 4 outings. Needs a good journey and to be put into play at the right time. The price should be right so best to not overlook.

Race 6

3-Bordogna (6-1)-Looking for some value and Rick Magee could work a similar efficient trip as last week. Has a shot if close to the lead turning for the wire and does come off an improved effort.
4-Pridecrest (7/2)-Recent form has not been as sharp but draws inside of the chalks (6-7) and that could be the winning difference.
6-Susie's Sister (3-1)-Broke in last from the rail and will excuse the miscue. Looking for a return to its previous razor-sharp form.

Race 7

1-Star Track Hanover (3-1)-Broke at the start of the Wiseman to lose all chance. Now draws the rail which could help. Likes to get on the point and not look back. This is the spot to work that trip and Dean Magee should have the pedal down when the wings open.
6-Bringoverthemoney (9/2)-Still looking for the 1st picture of 2022, fits well with this crew and gets the services of Nick Roland. Should offer a square price in a race without a standout.

Race 8

4-Tink And Tiger (6-1)-Comes off a good try but was compromised by a slow half. This 14-year-old still battles and could land in a good early seat and surprise at a nice price.
6-Terror Of The Night (3-1)-Almost wired the field last time at even money. This is another game veteran and should be there at the wire with the right trip.
