Tonight, there is a competitive card at Rosecroft Raceway and the co-features come in the opening two races. In Race 1, 2-year-old colts and gelding trotters will battle for a share of a $45,400 purse in Maryland Sire Stakes action. In Race 2 freshmen pacers take center stage in another Maryland Sire Stakes event and the purse will be $43,300. The two features, as well as Race 6 and Race 8 are handicapped below.

Last night at Hoosier Park, my top picks won the third and fourth races, with my third choice in each race coming second. In Race 5 my third choice won and my second pick placed. In Race 6, the winner #4-Mach It So was not on my radar. But my third choice was the runner-up, while my top pick #2-Missile J came in third.

2-Iron Mine Bro-Last week, came the 2nd half in 58.3 on his own, rates an edge with the rail.
7-What That Is-Winner of last two is the main threat and has the gate speed to get a good seat.
6-Judge Bob-May have to grind it out but raced well off a sick scratch and should be a square price.

Race 2-Maryland Sire Stakes Final-Pace-Purse $43,300
2-I Run The Show-Should get away on top or in 2 hole and then Foster can provide a great trip.
4-Allies Finale-ML chalk is winner of 3 straight and can make it 4 in a row with a smooth journey.
1-LLoyd's All In-Very consistent, leaves from post #2 and should be in contention throughout.

Race 6-Winners Over Handicap-Purse $8,500
8-Don Dorardo-Likes the track and has the speed to overcome this post, looks like a major player.
3-Go Byem-Faced tough foes at Harrington and has earned >$61k in 2017, best to respect chances.
5-Dunn Dealin-Looks like a good gimmick play with a 7-1 morning line.

Race 8-Open Handicap-Purse $10,000
7-Hickory Aloha-Has the gate speed to get on the engine or in 2 hole and trip could mean a picture.
1-Adios Muchachos-Steps up off a very good debut at RcR, looks like a player and has a 8-1 ML.
9-Rock 'N Roll Jet-Program chalk should be in the mix and if pace is hot could roll by all.
