The Meadowlands has 13-races on tap and the headliners are 2-year-olds battling in New Jersey Sires Stakes action. The 0.50 Early Pick 4 starts in Race 6. The sequence has a $50,000 guaranteed pool, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6

1-Fox Valley Adele (3-1)-Has been sharp and now adds Lasix. Miller trainee merits a long look and starting from the rail shouldn't hurt chances.
3-Canadian Ballet (15-1)-Takter pupil has speed and now needs to pass horses down the lane. Gingras should put into play and is worth a swing at the morning line price on top and underneath.
5-Ucandoit Blue Chip (2-1)-Toscano trainee has a nose for the wire and comes off an impressive score from post 7. Won't offer any value but best to not overlook.

Race 7

5-Mac's Marvel (10-1)-Philly invader came the back half in 55.1 and now tries Lasix. Hasn't taken a picture in 2022 (9-0-2-2) but could be in a spot to duck in behind the one below and trip out at long odds.
6-All About The Hunt (2-1)-This 3-year-old didn't race at 2 and seems to be a cut above the others. But there is a short resume, hasn't raced in almost 3 weeks and will offer a small price. But could get the top and not look back.

Race 8

1-Walner Payton (4-1)-Walner filly comes off a nice win from the 7-hole and has looked good in both starts. Should be a player, first time from the rail but Dunn could make that work.
2-Secret Volo (5-1)-Melander pupil and has raced coming off cover and on the point. Finished 2nd in both starts and looks like a contender at a square price .
7-Mambacita (2-1)-Has made it look easy in every race and is clearly the one to beat. But starts outside instead of on the rail and this will be her biggest test thus far.

Race 9

6-Scrappin Gold (3-1)-Finished 2nd by an eye lash at .30 on the $1 and could make amends tonight but camera shy 5-year-old is only 2 for 24 in the past 2 years. Joe B sticks, the Alexander barn is posting 36% winners over the last 30 days, so should be ready for a picture. Has finished 2nd in each of the last 3 East Rutherford starts and won't be facing those winners.
