Breeders Crown weekend at Hoosier Park begins tonight with a 14-race card featuring the finest two and three-year-old fillies, and mares. The headliners take place in races 7-12 and are handicapped below. The Early 0.50 Pick 4 begins in Race 5 and has a $25,000 guaranteed pool. The Late Pick 4 sequence starts in Race 9 and has a $40,000 guaranteed pool.

Race 7-Breeders Crown-Mares Trot-Purse $250,000
4-Caprice Hill-This mare offers more value than the #1 on a dry track, and with a short field is well worth a swing.
1-Emoticon Hanover-4/5 program favorite looks the part and is on quite a run, the one to beat.
3-Pink Pistol-Interesting invader from up North with a top young driver, can hit the board.

Race 8-Breeders Crown-2-year-old Filly Trot-Purse $600,000
4-Manchego-Looking to go 12 for 12 and it would be a surprise if that doesn't happen.
5-Phaetosive-If not for #4 she is the top banana, but will likely be a bridesmaid again.
6-Top Expectation-Raced well for Team Miller in 1st HoP start. Can round out the ticket at long odds.

Race 9-Breeders Crown-3-year-old Filly Pace-Purse $500,000
7-Idyllic Beach-9/2 ML for Gingras/Takter and will be my key to upset the two chalks #2 and #3.
5-Agent Q-Consistent as they come, a major player and can beat this field with a good trip.
3-Ella Christina-Rolled by with a 26.1 4th quarter, not sure race will set up same but deserves respect.

Race 10-Breeders Crown-3-year-old Filly Trot-Purse $500,000
8-Ariana G-Unless there's a downpour and track is bad, she should be posing for another picture.
6-Sunshine Delight-At 20-1, here's my price shot for gimmicks. Likes the track and I like the post draw.
5-Overdraft Volo-Racing well for Andy and Julie Miller, should be in the hunt to hit the ticket.

Race 11-Breeders Crown-2-year-old Filly Pace-Purse $600,000
4-Youaremycandygirl-Will give a slight edge to this gal on a bigger oval.
3-Rainbow Room-Should be battling to the wire as usual and no shock to seeing her finish on top.
1-Reign On Me-Handled cautiously in elims, can hit the board with Sears and will use in gimmicks.

Race 12-Breeders Crown-Mares Pace-Purse $250,000
8-Lady Shadow-Likes the engine but 3/4's in 1.22.4 was too hot. Gingras may find right formula tonight.
3-Nike Franco N-Likely post time chalk deserves respect in a very competitive race.
4-Darlinonthebeach-Verstaile mare is racing well and if top two are off, here's the biggest threat.
