Tonight, Hoosier Park has a 15-race card ready to roll which is loaded with big money stakes and features Bulldog Hanover seeking his 10th consecutive victory. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 12. The sequence has a $20,000 guaranteed pool, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 12

4-Frankie Frankie (7/2)-Shook loose on 9-16 and came with a big brush to roll by to win with a 26.3 last quarter. Was loaded with pace when Bender straightened the 2-year-old out and he provided a nice steer. Comes right back in sequence and has won 3 of 7 at HoP.
5-Ervin Hanover (6-1)-Looking for a square price and will lean toward Burke-Gingras. Willing to toss the last race on 9-4 when was hung the mile in the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes Final. This will be the 1st parimutuel start on a larger oval but did have a pair of nice qualifiers back in June on the mile surface at Gaitway Farms. These connections usually come with a purpose not to experiment.

Race 13

1-Catch The Fire (6-1)-The Todd Luther trainee is loaded with speed and has hit the board in 4 of 5 starts in Anderson with 2 pictures. Comes off a 146.4 score at M1 on 8-6 and had a sharp qualifier to tune-up for this challenge. Might get a pocket trip and Andrew McCarthy will have a swing at the big horse down the lane.
2-Bulldog Hanover (2/5)-The Bulldog will lose eventually but it doesn't have to be in 2022. This will be the 10th straight win but he is facing a talented field. The 4-year-old has never lost at Hoosier Park going a perfect 5 for 5.

Race 14

6-Forbidden Trade (6-1)-This is an interesting race and will fade the morning line chalk #1 and the 2nd choice #10. The Blais trainee has won his only start at HoP and McClure can leave to land near the top of the stack. This 6-year-old can battle and with a sharp steer could pop at a nice price.
7-Jujubee (5-1)-This will be only the 2nd start of the season for the 2021 Trotter of the Year. The connections have been cautious and did break in his 1st start on 9-2 at ScD. That miscue came at the end of the mile versus Open company. The 4-year-old is a main threat if dialed on high.
8-Lovedbythemasses (8-1)-This Cullipher trainee has 1 win in 6 starts here and has won 7 of 14 on the year while facing some tough foes. Regular pilot Tim Tetrick has enough gate speed to land in a good early seat, and this post draw helps the price. Has banked $311,470 in 2022 which is second in this field to #1-Cuatro De Julio ($328,738).

Race 15

3-Just A Start (20-1)-This price shot had an even effort here on 8-26 versus Open 2 company and should fit better with this crew. Not seeing a 20-1 price with Dunn between the pipes but should add value to the Pick 4.
8-Rogers Image (5-1)-This 4-year-old has 9 wins in 45 Hoosier starts and the Burke trainee fits here. Chris Page takes the lines and that's a positive driver change. Looking for a more aggressive steer.
11-Hippestcatintown (8-1)-Here's another that will offer a nice return. De Long steers and he could get a decent early seat as #2 has some gate speed. Looking for an efficient trip and this gelding can roll late.
