The feature at Yonkers Raceway goes in Race 7, an Open Handicap Pace with a $33,000 purse. The headliner also marks the start of the $1.00 Late Pick 4, and that sequence will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 7

3-Oakwoodnitownit IR (7-1)-Thinking this Bako trainee gets the point or the 2-hole and either can work for a picture. His Yonkers record is only 3-31 but has won 7 of 27 starts this year.
4-Odds On Capitalism (5-1)-This 3-year-old looks like a nice one and will take a swing he can top older tonight. Will avoid the 2-1 program chalk in this leg and hope Holland is in striking range to roll off cover and take advantage of a hot pace.
6-Buddy Hill (7-1)-Buddy races best near the top of the stack. That didn't happen last time but hadn't raced in almost a month. Kakaley should have the 6-year-old cranked up and could land up front and battle to the wire.

Race 8

3-Diamondbeach (5/2)-At this class, Zeron should have the pedal down to land on the point and control the mile. Comes off a nice effort from post 7 versus better and could be sitting on a big try in a field without a standout.

Race 9

1-Quatrain Blue Chip (7/2)-Recent form has been sharp and this post draw should help the cause. Looking for Marohn to work an efficient trip and be in the mix at the wire.
5-Better B Oscar A (6-1)-Dropped to this level in last and didn't accomplish much from post 7. Did roll the back half in 55.3 and returns in sequence this time. Looking for Bartlett to have this price shot within reach of the leaders turning for the wire.

Race 10

3-Whitecookie (5/2)-When dialed on high gets the top, and doesn't look back. Executed that plan on 10-17 against $75k claimers and Gingras will be looking to do the same tonight.
5-Delightful Dude N(10-1)-Hudson entry makes the 3rd start in the US and was pace compromised in last, as the 1st half went in 58.3. Did roll the back half in 55.2 and could surprise at a price.
6-Windsun Ricky (7-1)-Should relish this company and is another who can add some juice to the Pick 4 payout. Holland may look to leave, then land behind #3 and take his shot down the lane.
