Woodbine kicks-off the weekend with a competitive ten-race card. There will be a 0.20 Pick 5 beginning in Race 1 with a $50,000 guaranteed pool. The Early 0.20 Pick 4 sequence with a $50,000 guaranteed pool starts in Race 4. My focus will be on the 0.20 Late Pick 4 which rolls in Race 7.

Last night at Woodbine the track was rated "good" and Jody Jamieson led all drivers with three wins. There were ten different trainers who made trips to the winner's circle. It was a very chalky night except in Race 4 when Jonathan Drury steered home #7-Imcooleronline and paid $37.40 to win.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 7
2-Aintsheasweettie-Rallied off a perfect trip and seems to be in a good spot for continued success.
3-Mattjestic Tempo-Steps up after a route and Roys sticks, will respect chances for another win.
4-Kays Shadow-Drops to a better spot and may be driven more aggressively off the gate.

Race 8
2-Deep Impact-Made a rare break in last and if stays flat, does fit well with this group
3-Holiday Party-Closed well making up ground in last 1/8, will take a swing to snag a price shot with Roy.
5-Flying Isa N-Usually bet and tough to figure, but hard to leave out in an open race.
7-Royal Charm-On the engine for a change in last, and almost lasted. Looking for a new route for success.

Race 9
2-Treasures Pearl-Too far back to a slow pace, JMac should keep in striking position from this post.
3-Tearful Of Happy-Won off a vet scratch and looks to have a big shot to capture two straight.
4-V String-Doesn't win often but will respect connections-3rd start for trainer.

Race 10
3-Beach Goddess-Big chance to shine if can mind manners and likes to win races.
7-Mach The Cut-Needs a clean trip as well, could be a good start away from a picture.
