6th Race LRL (3:15 EST): A GIRL NAMED JAC is unproven at this level, but she was re-claimed by McMahon and will take some catching in her first route attempt. She accelerated on the turn two back and won geared down despite not changing leads in a race that produced three next-out winners. WESTERN LANE was outrun while saving ground until the stretch but finished with good energy in the final eight to finish third. She gets in light-weighted and gets a spot on the ticket with an extra furlong to run.

7th Race LRL (3:46 EST): AUNT BERRA chased a 2-to-1 first-time starter who won by 9-1/2 lengths and a runner-up who came back to win by 9 more. She finished a clear third and is a solid play in this field. All of STEPHANIE MY LOVE’S races to date produced next-out winners. She was hard ridden and no factor after a bumpy start at Gulfstream Park last out, but still must be considered with second-time Lasix in a suspect field.

8th Race LRL (4:17 EST): IRISH CORK finished second the last two times he avoided trouble going a route of ground. The winners of those races are a combined 11-for-22 with $438k in earnings. He gets top billing in today’s featured allowance race. TORCH OF TRUTH re-awakened with easy back-to-back victories to bring his gaudy Laurel record to 25/8-4-2.

9th Race LRL (4:48 EST): DART has speed and the rail and gets in light off the Gonzalez claim, but he blew clear stretch leads in his last two starts and will be an underlay, necessitating an ‘ALL’ play in the final leg of the Pick 4.
