The Meadowlands will have a 12-race card tonight with the feature coming in Race 8, a condition pace with a $13,000 purse. The Big M's newest wager is in Race 1 as the 0.20 Pick 10 kicks off the night. The Early 0.50 Pick 4 starts in Race 4 and has a $25,000 guaranteed pool, while the 0.50 Pick 5 rolls in Race 2 and also has a $25,000 guaranteed pool. The sequence which will be my focus is the 0.50 Late Pick 4 which begins in Race 8.

My posted Pick 4 at Mohawk on Friday misfired in two legs, and the winning combination of (4/3/6/5) paid $128.44. 

Tonight's Late Pick 4 is an interesting sequence as some of the program favorites don't standout. I went four deep in the second and fourth legs looking to get rewarded for a $48 investment with winners who score at longer odds. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 8

1 - Misqued - Only win of year came here, has faced stakes company and could find this group more to her liking.

5 - Abbijade Hanover - In from Pa. and comes off a sharp effort. LT mark (1:49.4) came at Big M earlier this year. 

6 - Inverse Hanover - Has faced high caliber horses all season and has banked >$122k, best to respect chances.

Race 9

2 - Buckeye In Charge - Doesn't like to win bit this isn't a stellar group. From this post should be in the hunt.

4 - Frankie Boy - Another who has trouble closing the deal but can't dismiss from the 4 hole versus these. 

6 - Victorydaze Wilwin - Won a NW of 5k last 5 starts here this summer and should have a big shot tonight.

7 - Rock To Glory - Also shows a win at the Big M and at 8-1 in the ML, will look to get a price in this race.

Race 10

2 - Twincreeks Jesse - In form and has a 1:51 season mark at the Big M, looks like a major player tonight. 

7 - Sippin On Suds - Has a race at the track which most don't and was fine. Dave Miller steers and that won't hurt.

Race 11

6 - Intrigued Intended - 2nd start for trainer and shows a big track win, will use at 5-1 in ML in an open race.

7 - Stratocaster - Comes off a 2nd place finish on 11/7 at MR, 2nd chalk fits and could leave.

8 - Major Legacy - Price shot had a race over this surface and when right can grind it out and roll late.

9 - Rocknalltheway - Cheaper, small track horse should be a price. Knows how to win and will use instead of #1.
