The Sunday night feature at Rosecroft Raceway is an Open Pace with a $10,000 purse carded as Race 8. The 0.50 Pick 5 sequence begins in Race 7. The 0.50 Pick 3 starts in Race 4 and that's where my attention will be.

My Pick 4 play last night at the Big M was correct in only three of four legs. The winning 0.50 Pick 4 combination (6-4-1-7) paid $106.55.

Last night at Rosecroft the hottest hands belonged to driver Frank Milby who steered home three winners. Kenneth Schlotzhauer topped the trainer's list with three trips to the winner's circle.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 4
3-Becket Hanover-Rolled home from the 9 hole in last and this is similar, will respect chances for a repeat.
5-Major Blue Coat-Can fly off the gate and is in form, looking for 2nd straight win.
7-A Major Impulse-Won in 53.4 here in 2016 and is a regular on a 5/8ths oval, will use at 8-1 in the ML.

Race 5
1-Putnams Storm-Used very hard in opening 1/4 and faded. Gets post relief and that could make a win possible.
6-Jin Dandy-Could get a better cover flow than in last 2. Competes and may roll by late with the right trip.
9-Its Outta Here-Tops field in yearly earnings and wins. Steps down and post makes the price more attractive.

Race 6
3-My Friskie Boy-9/5 ML chalk doesn't win a lot but that's common with this crew. Should be a player with a trip.
4-Call Me Mr Lucky-Raced well despite being roughed up in last, can take a picture with a smooth journey.
