The Meadowlands has a 14-race card scheduled and the headliners are 3-year-olds battling in New Jersey Sires Stakes action. The 0.50 Early Pick 4 starts in Race 6. The sequence has a $50,000 guaranteed pool with a 15% takeout, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6

2-Ucandoit Blue Chip (7/5)-Rallied down the stretch and nipped #4 who was cutting the mile. Came 3-wide after pulling and closed in a hurry. Made supporters sweat at 4/5 but that was the 1st race of the season and could be even better here.
4-Anna's Wish (5/2)-Cut the mile and lost by a head in the 1st start for team Bongiorno. Lazurus filly showed some heart because she was bumpy around the last turn. It looked like she wouldn't come close to a picture. Raced well and might be better in the 2nd start for the new connections.

Race 7

2-Blue Ocean (10-1)-Zeron sticks with Alagna and will steer #4 so that means Dunn gets the assignment. Should fit well versus this crew and the price is right to take a swing. Fusco trainee is often in the hunt at the wire and should be stalking the leaders down the lane.
5-I'm Some Graduate (5-1)-Lands in a good spot tonight after facing better at Harrington. Has won 4 of 15 here and Callahan should have this veteran forwardly placed.
7-Marcus Seelster (3-1)-Fading #1 Mad Max Hanover (9/5) the program chalk and will hope he isn't quite ready for a winning debut. Todd McCarthy sticks here over #5 and Marcus has been in sharp form. Looks like a main player, has the gate speed to get a good seat but doesn't have to be on the engine to win.

Race 8

2-Voukefalas (4/5)-This is a fine NJ bred and the colt wired this kind last week in a sizzling 150.3 with a .26 last quarter. That mile was only 3/5's of a second off his lifetime best and a new mark could come this evening.

Race 9

2-Celebrity Bambino (2-1)-Has hit the board in 7 of 9 races at M1 with 3 pictures and tuned up with 2 nice qualifiers at the end of April. Makes its 3-year-old debut and can grind it out and come off cover or race on the point. Could win if ready for a big try and the post edge over the one below may come into play.
7-Oh Well (9/5)-The Melander pupil also makes its seasonal debut and did top the one above in a qualifier on 4-29. Not sure what the game plan will be for Tim Tetrick. Might leave if dialed on high and look to get the point but could win coming off a helmet as well.
