The highlight of Friday's card at Cal Expo is the 0.20 Pick 4 sequence which begins in Race 8 and has a $30,000 guaranteed pool. The feature race of the evening is a condition pace with a $4,400 purse which rolls in Race 9. The Pick 4 pools at Cal Expo have been over the guarantee and it has been challenging to identify the winning combination. 

Last night, at Woodbine my Pick 4 ticket connected on only three of four legs, and this one stung a bit. In Race 8, #6- 

PL Kaleidoscope wasn't on my radar but was bet down to 9/5 and paid $5.90 to win. In Race 10, #1-Twomacsoneshadow was on my ticket and lit up the board paying $44.20. The longshot winner helped spark a 0.20 Pick 4 payout (2/6/4/1) of $337.70.

Race 8

1 - Mighty Fine Hi Ho - Tough trip in last and gets a positive driver change. Fits here and should be in the hunt.

3 - Holla At Ur Boy - Roland's choice comes off a win and deserves respect.

5 - Cruisin For You - Dropped to get a win in last and may keep going versus this group at a square price.

6 - Laissezmoipicoler - Paced the last half in 55.2 and needs to be put into striking position, can pop at a price.

Race 9

2 - Senga Nitro - Missed a start, now on Lasix and drops. Does have back class and best can beat this field.

3 - Eastender - 1st start off the bench was very good and expecting to be tighter tonight.

4 - One And Only - 9-yr.-old qualified well and knows how to win. Best to respect, Wiseman in the bike. 

5 - Dupage's Z Tam - Often close but struggles to win. Roland barn has been hot so will consider at 9/2 in the ML.

Race 10

2 - Tornado Henry - 4th start at CalX and now Svendsen steers and he knows well. Could be sitting on a big try.

3 - Oh Yea - Plano between the pipes, also trains and this is a much better spot to shine.

5 - Kukalaka - Winner of 2 straight likes the engine, if no one challenges and if he controls pace could win again.

7 - Good Citations - Roland won at this class on 11/4 and he is back to drive, can grind it out with some cover. 

Race 11

5 - Lil Miss Knuckles - Drops out of Open company but did win in that class. Roland up, and should be dialed on high.

6 - Directing Traffic - Dropped to this level in last but pace was slow and couldn't catch winner, major player tonight.
