Northfield Park has a 15-race card with the feature rolling in Race 6, a filly, and mares Open Handicap Pace with an $18,000 purse. The $1.00 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 11. The sequence has a $10,000 guaranteed pool with a low 12% takeout, and it will be my focus.

Race 11 (9:40 PM EST)

3-Live And Let Di (7/2)-Made every call a winning one last week leaving from the rail. Was bet down to 3/5 and was in control but this field may represent more of a challenge. Will respect chances and hope it isn't over bet.
5-USA Diamond Rock (7/1)-Will swing for a price shot to start the sequence. If Jacob Baird fires the mare up off the gate, she could land in the pocket behind #3 and look to roll by down the lane.
9-Tally Two (5/2)-This mare raced 3 times in 14 days at the end of October and hasn't seen action since. Wouldn't want to see a short price but figures to be in the mix with a sharp steer and if dialed on high.

Race 12 (10:02 PM EST)

2-Rockabillycockshut (9/2)-Dayton shipper had an even effort here on 11-5 facing Open Handicap company. Lands in a good spot to post its 1st win at Nfld and should be racing on top or close to it.
3-Smothastenesewisky (7/2)-This is another Dayton shipper that should relish the company. Did post a win here versus this kind on 10-2. That victory came with Davis Jr in the bike and is another who should be racing near the top of the stack.
6-Miki The Clown (3-1)-Steps up after getting on the engine at 6/5 and didn't look back. This is a winnable situation, Miki has recent victories against $50k claimers at Yonkers. Looks like a main player and the 3-1 price is probably wishful.

Race 13 (10:24 PM EST)

3-Dance Club (3-1)-Usually races out East and battled $25k claimers at YR, landed in a soft spot last week at Nfld and won at 1/9. Should offer some value this time and doubling up is a real possibility.
5-Sea Rose (5-1)-Merriman steers and should be out and rolling from the word go. Comes off an even effort but returns
in sequence this time. Will look for a big try and could land in the pocket behind the one above.

Race 14 (10:46 PM EST)

4-Navagio N (5-1)-Needs the right trip but fits well with this crew and has a driver who could look to land on the point. Davis Jr sticks and comes back in sequence this time. Looking for an aggressive drive and could be sitting on a big effort.
9-Royaltys Dreamer (8-1)-This mare likes to win and has taken 7 pictures in 21 starts this year. Also does good work on this oval (22-8-2-5). This will be the 2nd start after a claim and drops to a more competitive level. Will look for Myers to have in play on the last turn and the price is right to take a swing.
