Yonkers Raceway has a 10-race card to begin the week. The 0.50 Pick 5 with a $10,000 guaranteed pool rolls in Race 5. The $1.00 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 7, and it will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 7 (9:00 PM EST)

2-Full Support (5/2)-Comes off a gate to wire score in Philly and will make its Yonkers debut. Probably needs to be better than last week to take another picture. But gets Yannick Gingras in a spot where he could land on the point. Will look for the upswing to continue in the 4th start for the Burke barn.
3-Shuffle Up Hanover (5/2)-Comes off a nice win versus the same kind and was claimed by the Forte barn. Likes to take pictures, is 8-19 this year and may stay good for his 3rd straight win.
4-Ben Solo (2-1)-Has hit the board in 3 of 4 races at Yonkers and has posted 1 win. Has the gate speed to land on top or in the 2-hole behind #2. Either trip could work for a win in what appears to be a chalky leg.

Race 8 (9:20 PM EST)

2-Lou’s Sweetrevenge (5/2)-Won here versus this kind, then shipped to Philly to take on some tough customers. Finished 3rd by 5 lengths to a Abuckabet Hanover and that’s nothing to be embarrassed about. That veteran cleaned up on Saturday night in the Fan Duel Open Pace Championship. Jordan Stratton gets the call and looks like a main player.

Race 9 (9:40 PM EST)

1-Maximus Red A (3-1)-Drops to the level of its last win that came back on Aug 17. Gets a new pilot in Yannick Gingras and draws the rail for the first time since that picture. Should be dialed on high tonight.
6-Caviart Rockland (5-1)-Likes to get on the engine, tried that last time versus better and was hung the mile. Drops, the price should be right to take a swing and Bartlett will likely be leaving again. Could get the top or the pocket and be the best down the lane.

Race 10 (10:00 PM EST)

1-Pinebush Lifesaver (12-1)-Will fade the 9/5 morning line chalk #4 RJ Sports Image and hope the others will catch the speed. Lifesaver has been dull but raced better last week. Could be right there if steps up off the last race and fits with this crew.
6-Boiling Oar (8-1)-Did not get the best of trips in last and the soft fractions didn't help. Will look for Stratton get into striking range, and be a threat to roll by down the lane.
7-Tuggin On My Heart (5/2)-Joe B does the steering and should be a major player. Has the gate speed to land on the point and could be difficult to tackle.
