There's a 12-race card on tap at the Meadowlands this evening. The co-feature condition paces with a $17,500 purse will roll in Race 3 and Race 8. The 0.50 Late Pick 4 sequence with a guaranteed $50,000 pool starts in Race 8 and that will be my focus.

On Friday night at the Big M, drivers Simon Allard, Eric Carlson and Jim Marohn Jr. led the other pilots with two wins each. Carlson's winners were trained by Rick Dane who led all conditioners with two trips to the winner's circle.

Last night, my Cal Expo Pick 4 ticket came apart in the opening leg when #3-A Place At The Beach with Gerald Longo, who was completely off my radar, charged home at 18-1. Longo had a big night recording four training wins and he steered three of his trainees. There was a dead heat in the last leg, which Longo was also a part of and the (3-2-2-4,5,8) combination paid $299.00 on a 0.20 bet. My ticket was correct in only the second and third legs.

Race 8
2-Betabcool N-Last start at Big M off a sick scratch was good and now moves in from the 8 hole.
5-Stylish Beachwhere-Takes a nice step up but rolled with some fast fractions in last and will use at 10-1 in the ML.
7-Ok Heavenly-1st start in town was good and can grind his way around and surprise at a price.
9-Jewel Lehigh A-Post could be a challenge but has the speed to beat this crew with a decent trip.

Race 9
1-Rock To Glory-Back to the Big M and that should help, looks like a major player from the rail.
5-Davids's Dream-Racing well and steps up after a win and will respect chances for a repeat.
6-Express Stride N-Program chalk is also racing well and fits at this level in a competitive race.

Race 10
8-Cousin Mary-Raced well in 1st Big M start, could be better tonight and pick up 13th win of year.
10-Abbijade Hanover-Gingras is back in the bike and if he can work a trip this mare should be in the hunt.

Race 11
1-El Rama N-Program chalk deserves to be used but looking towards others to provide some punch to the ticket.
5-More Dragon-Raced well 2 back and then had an excuse with broken equipment, figures to be in the mix.
6-Mister Truth-Used hard from the 9 hole and faded, now drops and looks like the one to beat.
8-Dune Dude-2nd start at Big M and after a sick scratch. If ready can beat this crew and post will make the price.
