Woodbine Mohawk Park has an 11-race card to begin the week. The Early Pick 4 starts in Race 4, and it will be my focus.
Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 4 (8:26 PM EST)

3-Walkonthemoon (7/2)-Finished 3rd to a well-meant winner last time. Comes off a bumpy trip and returns versus the same kind. Looks like a player and could be a smooth trip away from a picture.
5-Patriarch Hanover (3-1)-Has burned money in the last 2 starts but may have more to give. This will be the 3rd start off the bench, could bring his best try and offer backers a better return.

Race 5 (8:48 PM EST)

2-Illgetmyown Thanks (4-1)-Ships in and has been in good form at the B tracks. Gets reunited with JMac and he has won with this 8-year-old in the past.
3-Control The Power (3-1)-Got on the engine from post 8 and faded down the lane. McNair should land on the point without much trouble and look to make every call a winning one.

Race 6 (9:10 PM EST)

1-Munk (4-1)-Has raced twice at Wbsb and came with a strong try after a break in stride in its 12-26 start. JMac takes over and should be in the mix if minds its manners. Might be ready to take top honors in the 3rd race since 9-28.
2-Century Jaguar (5/2)-Has been the top dog when stays on stride and has won 2 of the last 3 races easily.
8-If The Shoe Fits (3-1)-Comes back in sequence, McNair sticks here over #1 and the pedal should be through the floor board when the wings fold. There isn't much gate speed in this race, could get the top and make every call a winning one.

Race 7 (9:32 PM EST)

6-Music To My Gears (2-1)-This 12-year-old set a lifetime mark with a trip out win in last. Could get a pocket ride this time following the one below.
8-Doc Houston (5/2)-Is only 2 for 29 at Mohawk but cruised home in 152.1 drawing off by 6 lengths to set a new lifetime mark in last. Willing to bet the last start wasn't a one-off. Should have enough gate speed to land on the engine once again.
