Northville Downs has a 9-race card scheduled. The $1.00 Pick 4 starts in Race 6, and it will be my focus. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6 8:40 PM EST)

2-Cruzen Cassi (7/5)-Bumps up after taking care of the last field on 1-5. Usual pilot Drew Neill is steering so will look for an efficient trip that could end with another picture.
7-Castyourcrown (2-1)-Raced evenly from the 3-hole versus this condition at Nfld on Tuesday night and cashed a 3rd place check. Starts outside, so hoping for a better price than the morning line. Should fare better versus this crew and this might be the race the connections were aiming at.

Race 7 (9:00 PM EST)

1-Allaboutthematerial (7/5)-Shipped in after racing at Nfld and faced Open company. Did perform well, almost wired the field, and now drops. This is a logical choice and could be bet hard.
3-Princess Alta (3-1)-This mare is only 1-15 on an off-track and the last 3 starts have been on a wet surface. Didn't catch the winner off a nice pocket ride in last and now drops to a soft spot. Could offer some value and best to respect, has won 6 of 22 at Nor.

Race 8 (9:20 PM EST)

5-Mystical Lane (4-1)-This will be the 3rd start after a sick scratch and raced a decent 3rd off a wide trip versus straight Open company. Gets handclapped with post 5 which is a choice starting spot at this track and it should be all systems 'go".
7-My Uncle Cuz (7/2)-Team Harmon entry took control early on and crossed the wire 1st back on 1-5. This is a hodgepodge affair and best to not discount the chances of this veteran doubling up.

Race 9 <b<(9:40 pm="" est)<="" b="">

3-Always B Somewhere (3-1)-Put in an even try against Open company after being off for close to a month. Should be in the hunt at this level and could cash the top check with a sharp steer.
5-Vegas Highroller (3-1)-This veteran comes off a win versus 3 from this field from the same post and drew off at 0.20 on the $1.00. Should be a better price here and does good work at Nor (65-13-15-6).
6-Rockinattheryman (20-1)-Raced near the top of stack, stayed inside and dead heated for 2nd. Was off since 11-24 so could be better tonight. Needs a trip but will take a swing at this price.
