2.30 (9:30AM ET) – Chesham Stakes (Listed Race)
HIGHLIGHT REEL
Trained by Michael Bell, he ran first time out at Lingfield in June, finishing second by ½ length, after having to switch in from a wide draw on to worse ground. I always find Michael’s horses improve from their first to second run so this is one to keep an eye on at a big price.
3.05 (10:05AM ET) – Wolferton Handicap (Listed Race)
KHAIRAAT
This is a lightly-raced horse, who made an impressive start to the year winning at Chester by four and a half lengths in May. He has done well going from a three- to a four-year-old and looks ready to take the step up to Listed company.
3.40 (10:40AM ET) – Hardwicke Stakes (Group 2)
DARTMOUTH
Owned by The Queen, this is a tough cookie of a horse and last time out won the Group 2 Yorkshire Cup in May. He is a course and distance winner, having won this race last year beating Highland Reel. He also boats a very impressive 50% strike-rate, winning eight of his 16 runs and has Ryan Moore on board.
4.20 (11:20AM ET) – Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Group 1)
THE TIN MAN
Trained by James Fanshawe, whom I ride out for, this horse has been going well of late and his prep work has been perfect. He had a debut run at York this year and he will kick on from that. He also loves Ascot.
5.00 (12:00PM ET) – Wokingham Stakes (Heritage Handicap)
OUTBACK TRAVELLER
This horse is in great form and will love the big field in this race. He is a strong traveller and Robert Cowell is great with sprinters.
5.35 (12:35PM ET) – Queen Alexandra Stakes
THOMAS HOBSON – bet of the day
I was really impressed with his victory in the Ascot Stakes earlier in the week and I fancy him to complete the double by winning this race. He won with a lot in hand on Tuesday.
