The Sunday night feature at Hawthorne is an Open 2-Trot, which is carded as Race 7 and has a $7,200 purse. Due to to a carryover there will be $25,000 guaranteed pool in the Pick 5 and that sequence begins in Race 1. Race 7 begins the 0.50 Late Pick 4 with a $20,000 guaranteed pool and my ticket is posted below.

On Saturday, Casey Leonard and Todd Warner led all drivers with two trips to the winner's circle. Terry Leonard was the top conditioner with two wins on the card.

Last night at the Big M my Pick 4 ticket was correct in only three of four legs. The (7-6-4-6) combination paid $174.50 on a 0.50 bet.

2-Vital Terror-Looks to be getting into race shape and should be in the hunt at a square price.
3-We Rob Banks-Impressive win at this level, looking for 3rd straight and will respect chances.
8-Bettormeboy-Came 2nd to #3 in last and with a good trip is a threat at this level.

Race 8
2-Picky Picky Valor-Oosting's choice steps up but should compete from this post and will respect chances.
7-Madewell Hanover-Made a break at start but was bet in last, Widger sticks and will use at 7-1 in the ML.
8-Primed N Powerful-Coming close but just falling short, may get a live cover flow and roll by.
10-Swan Handicap-Bates also trains the #4 and he steers the #10. Needs a trip but post adds to the price.

Race 9
4-J B's Hero-Comes off a sharp win and looks like a major threat. Bates steers as Leonard sticks with his dad (#5).
5-Twin B TK-Program chalk for Team Leonard, and they are hot. This gelding drops from a $10k claiming series.
9-Wildcat Robby-Beat these at 4/5 in a sharp effort, now Seekman steers and will offer better value.

Race 10
3-Fancy Little Girl-Gets post relief in 3rd start on Lasix and could be ready for a big effort.
4-Lexington Lady-Drops off an improved effort in an attempt to snag a long overdue win versus a soft group.
6-Summer Party-Should be in the mix but not buying the 2-1 ML, will look to beat.
