The Meadows has a 12-race card with the first post coming at 12:45 EDT. The co-features roll in Race 9 and Race 10, the Delvin Miller Adios Eliminations with a $25,000 purse. The top 4 finishers plus the 5th place finisher with the highest career earnings will meet next Saturday in the $385,000 Final.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 9-1st Adios Elimination (3:25 PM EDT)

1-Rick Wink (3-1)-Chris Page-Ron Burke
2-Prince Hal Hanover (7/2)-Todd McCarthy-Ian Moore
3-Doncic (8-1)-Dave Palone-Brian Brown
4-Lite Up The World (9/2)-James Macdonald-Anthony Beaton
5-Twisted Destiny (5/2)-Dexter Dunn-Chris Ryder
6-Knockout Round (15-1)-Dave Palone-Tony Alagna
7-Papi’s Rocket (9-1)-Yannick Gingras-Ron Burke

5-Twisted Destiny (5/2)-The Chris Ryder pupil is a short track specialist who won the MGM Final at Yonkers on 6-27 and has been off since. Did qualify nicely at M1 on 7-11 and could be anxious to play in a real race. Will look for a big try leaving from a choice post.
2-Prince Hal Hanover (7/2)-Dq'd winner of the Med Pace doesn't appear often on smaller ovals but has been good when he did. Hit the board in 3 of 4 at Mea and did have the 8-hole this year and came 3rd. Set a lifetime mark of 149.3 in the PASS Final at PcD on 5-17 and should be a threat for top honors.
1-Rick Wink (3-1)-This is a $35,000 supplemental entry from the Burke Brigade. Actually, one of five from that outfit and is a local hero who has won all 4 races this year. Draws the rail and has lost only once in 13 lifetime starts. Now, will get a chance to show how good he is versus top competition.
4-Lite Up The World (9/2)-Mohawk invader is fast but not sure how it will do on a 5/8's oval. Certainly, the connections must be confident and will look for James MacDonald to find a way to qualify for the big money next Saturday.
7-Papi's Rocket (9-1)-The last couple at M1 were dull and had a bad trip two back. Seems to be in a tough spot to hit the top of the ticket with this post draw. But Yannick Gingras could find a way to get to the Final. Does good work on this oval (8-4-2-1).

Race 10-2nd Adios Elimination (3:45 PM EDT)

1-Wedlock Blue Chip (9-1) David Miller-Roland Mallar
2-Railroad Station (8-1) Ronnie Wrenn Jr-Ron Burke
3-Papis Pistol (3-1) David Miller-Sam DePinto
4-Makes Sense (7-1) Dave Palone-Robert Cleary
5-Sippinonsearoc (9/2) Yannick Gingras-Ron Burke
6-Swingtown (4-1) Ronnie Wrenn Jr-Ron Burke
7-Fallout (4-1) Tim Tetrick-Tony Alagna
8-Glowing Lou (20-1) Jordan Stratton-Cory Stratton

6-Swingtown (4-1)-Qualified at Mea on 5-17 and zipped around in 149.3 which is 3/5's of a second faster than in its 150.1 mark at M1. Has never raced for a purse at Mea but knows how to win on smaller ovals. Ronnie Wrenn should have the pedal down and could look to go gate wire.
5-Sippinonsearoc (9/2)-Banked $568,000 last year and things haven't clicked in the same way in 2025 but was 1 for 1 at Mea last year. Although finishing 2nd in its last start, that was probably the best race this year considering it came from post 9. The upswing could continue and at a square price.
3-Papis Pistol (3-1)-Comes off a flat effort in the Med Pace. No one was beating the top 2 finishers that night, but the Sam DePinto entry was dull even with an inside trip. Will trust the connections have no qualms about racing on a smaller oval. This is a big track horse but has the ability to bring top speed in a hurry.
2-Railroad Station (8-1)-Will lean toward a Ron Burke, Sweet Lou colt who has an inside draw to claim a spot in the Final. Has had trouble finishing off miles but is in a spot to get a suck-around trip and be able to advance.
7-Fallout (4-1)-This is another who was dull in the Med Pace and now makes its 2nd start on Lasix. Tim Tetrick is between the pipes, and he will need to work his magic with this post draw. Maybe Lasix will make a difference, has talent, and did bank over $568k last year.
