Jeremy Plonk: Parx $472,821 Carryover / Mandatory Payout Pick 5 Analysis for Monday

November 10, 2025

Monday’s mandatory payout in the Philly Big 5 (late pick 5) at Parx highlights the day’s wagering menu. The $472,821 carryover pool gets underway in Race 6 at approximately 2:20 pm ET with a 50-cent base wager. Let’s get to work.

Parx: Race 6 (2:20 pm ET)

A big field of non-winners of 2 lifetime claimers sprint 6 furlongs. Three of these graduated in maiden special weights: #1 Wine and Roses (Laurel), #9 Gingersayschill (Parx) and #10 Lady d’Oro (Monmouth). They aren’t without flaws, but will look to escape an otherwise deep spread race with this trio.

Parx: Race 7 (2:47 pm ET)

Eight claimers route in this one, and #5 Repaynt has found a home at Parx since changing barns and is the value. #4 Got Game would be no surprise for Jamie Ness having won her only Parx try by daylight. She gets a nice weight break for a 3-year-old.

Parx: Race 8 (3:14 pm ET)

Seven allowance sprinters square off in Monday’s co-feature, and #5 Devil’s Arrow will be my single on the class rise. She blitzed maidens last out for a high-percentage barn in her second local start off a year layoff. Her return try in September was a second-place effort to a filly who has since added 2 more victories in a row. John Servis’ barn has been red-hot the past month, so other considerations include #1 Little Cocoa Bean and #7 Cash Banba, the latter more appealing on recent form.

Parx: Race 9 (3:41 pm ET)

Monday’s co-featured allowance sprint matches a field of 6 after the scratches of #8 Big Dreamer and #2 Glows in the Dark, who were my key threats in the race originally. The NY form of #1 Jackson's Dixie should hold up well with the remainder of the field. #5 Carousel Queen should be rallying late while #7 Angel of Hope provides the early threat.

Parx: Race 10 (4:08 pm ET)

A big field of claiming sprinters wraps the sequence. #2 Coach Knight and #8 Scheduling Dude already have cleared the non-winners of 3 lifetime condition, but connections shrewdly place here as eligible 3-year-olds vs. elders. #4 Dirty Harry has knocked on the door 3 times vs. similar and can’t be dismissed. #9 Vitement has some Kentucky class and is second off the claim for a potent outfit.
