ARCADIA, Calif. (March 23, 2018) – No one picked all five winners in Santa Anita’s popular Early Pick 5 wager on Friday, creating a massive carryover into Saturday of $251,993.  With the Grade II, $200,000 Santa Monica Stakes anchoring Saturday’s “Early 5,” track officials project Saturday’s total Early Pick 5 pool will exceed $2 million.

Carded as race five, Saturday’s seven furlong Santa Monica attracted a field of five, included even money favorite Paradise Woods, a multiple Grade I winner, and hard-hitting distaffers Skye Diamonds and Selcourt, who have each been assigned a morning line of 5-2.
