Woodbine Mohawk Park will be shining on Saturday night with a loaded 13-race card. The headliners are the $705,000 Canadian Pacing Derby and $620,000 Maple Leaf Trot. The Spot Plays are in Race 6, Race 8, and Race 10 and can be used in Win Bets. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6 (8:36 PM EDT)

6-D A Alljokesaside (3-1)-This will be the biggest test for the 2-year-old and so far, it looks like $18,000 well spent. Mark MacDonald can have the freshmen in striking range and it does like to roll late. Draws the choice post and it should be all systems go.

Race 8 (9:26 PM EDT)

3-Emoticon Legacy (5/2)-Hasn't beat the 6/5 morning line choice Super Chapter this year. But this 4-year-old is sharp and loves Mohawk (14-8-3-0). Finished a 1/2 length behind the chalk last week and trotted the last panel in 26.2 which was .3 faster. Driver Bob McClure could be in line for a pocket ride early on and will look forward to watching tonight's stretch drive.

Race 10 (10:21 PM EDT)

6-Prince Hal Hanover (4-1)-Put on a big show last week in the Elim and finally sealed the deal for the first time since June. Left from post 9 and got the top eventually into a 53.2 1st half. Should offer a fair price and has hit the board in 12 of 14 at Mohawk with 4 pictures. Starts from the choice post. Todd McCarthy should have the pedal down and land in an up-close seat. Hasn't won 2 straight since May and can double up here off the last performance.
