Dan Noble (6) and Aaron Merriman (1) drive the program chalks so will look for a square price. This is a spot to shine and could be sitting on a big try.

8-Ain't No Fire (4-1)-Left from post 8 last time and was never really in the race versus this company. Faces a different field except for the morning line chalk (2) who came 2nd last time. Will look for an aggressive steer as Merriman takes the lines and that could be enough to make a winning difference.

Race 11 (9:40 PM EDT)

2-Control Sicily (7/2)-Steps up after a sharp win at ScD on 9-1 and has won 4 of 13 at Nfld. Broke stride in 2 straight races when last here in the beginning of August. But the last 2 starts have been sharp, without any miscues, and did beat this kind at Nfld on 7-21. Lands in a nice spot in its return to town and with this post draw could take a picture at a fair price.
