Tonight, the Meadowlands rolls out an 11-race card. The feature coming in Race 2, a condition pace with drawn post positions having a $17,500 purse. The 0.50 Pick 4 sequence with a $50,000 guaranteed pool begins in Race 8 and will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 8
1-Can Do-Post relief, has rail and likes to race up close. Knows how to win at the Big M, I'll bite with a 10-1 ML.
6-Buff-Drops to a level of past success, should like the company and is 10-14 in the money at the Big M.
7-Roundtown Rocker-Likes the engine, could get there and control the race.
8-My Cherry Pie-Faded in last but had missed a start, may get brought up and rally late.

Race 9
1-Pop Icon-First Big M start wasn't bad and has the speed if improves off that effort to be a major player.
7-Perseverant-Brett Miller takes a seat and that should help, a threat with the right trip.
8-Forever Worth It-Marohn goes between the pipes, and if in striking range could surprise at a square price.

Race 10
3-Commentary-Comes off a tough trip and with this post change, should stay in the hunt.
6-Steed-Beaten favorite has been camera shy but will respect versus this field.
8-Danish Durango-Drop and moves outside but can race off a helmet and take a picture.

Race 11
4-City Hall-1st start since 12/28 but will take a swing, does fit with this bunch and starts inside of main foes.
8-The Fire Within-Won at this level on 2/18, post is a challenge but 2nd start for new trainer and gets Marohn.
9-Art History-Program chalk drops to a good spot and is the one to beat but McCarthy will need to work a good trip.
