Jeremy Plonk: Keeneland Exotics Price Players | Sunday, October 18, 2026

Each day during the 17-day Keeneland Fall Meet, I’ll spotlight the double-digit morning line prices that you’ll want to consider for your exotics plays. These are based on my top-3 choices in each race and will only appear if they’re in my mix and of significant odds.

With a Sunday pick 6 carryover of $44,318 a couple of price players in the sequence could be a year-maker for those lucky enough to connect all the dots.

Race 3:
#7 Hurry Hurry (15-1 ML) – Keeneland form has been rock-solid at higher class levels than this, and while the David Jacobson April claim quickly went off form in his last 2, he’s been away since June and may return improved at this lower level.

Race 6:
#2 Georgy Girl (20-1 ML) – Mark Casse’s 2-year-olds are historically strong here in Fall Meets and have performed well enough this current stand. Notable he reaches for John Velazquez on this debut runner and it’s a field with no apparent world-beaters – though I prefer 8-1 ML First Look on top.

Race 7:
#2 Malibu Smart (15-1 ML) – Another in a long line of veteran turf claims by Mike Maker that go on to relish marathon trips. Takes a 2-race win streak into the Dowager on the class rise and is drawn nicely around 3 turns with tactical ability.

#8 Golden Sunshine (10-1 ML) – Second price shot to spruce up a great gambling race in the Dowager. Spring Meet runner-up in the similar Bewitch Stakes has 10 straight superfecta finishes and always fires her shot.

Race 8:
#6 Kid Twist (10-1 ML) – Dialed In gelding has run well twice over the Kee surface against a tougher class and should fit very well upon the return here. Has held form through 2 previous claims, so barn change since his last not a big concern.
