3-Swan On A Mission (6-1)-Didn't have a shot with a post 9 trip last time against better. Now drops to a level where a win can happen. Does best when put in play early on. Eric Tharps can get a top of the stack trip leaving from this post. The 0-32 record is tough to swallow but has hit the board 11 times against mostly better. Using at the morning line price and should be sitting on a big try.

Race 6 (7:50 PM EDT)

2-Dovey (5/2)-Shipped in from Mea off a nice win versus similar and then had no pop down the lane last time. The plays here is that the mare fits with this crew and Aaron Merriman sticks. The program chalk is a 3-year-old, #6 Tom's Crazy Peach who is 9/5 in the program and trained by Corey Kreiser. Will lean with Merriman in this case in a race where the 2 morning line chalks (1-6) don't thrill me.

Race 9 (8:56 PM EDT)

7-Covid Cartel (5-1)-Beat the $5k claimers in last and takes a good step up, but the entire field has 18 wins in total. This 6-year-old has taken 4 pictures and the program chalk #9 has 6 wins. The chalk broke in its last race, and Merriman went to the 3/4's in spry 124.2 and hung on. Could look to get on the point again and could be better rated this time. This is a soft bunch and hopefully the Kreiser trainee won't be bet down.
