After tonight there is only one more Saturday program at Cal Expo as the 2017-2018 meet concludes next weekend. It's been a highly successful meet with some large pools and big payouts on horizontal bets, which are usually very challenging. The 0.20 Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 7, it has a $50,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus.

The posted Pick 4 ticket for Friday at the Big M did not click as the winning combination of (4-5-2-7/9) paid $115.15 on 0.50 wager.

The driver with the hottest hands last night at Cal Expo was James Kennedy with four wins. Three trainers Gordon Graham, Bobby Johnson and Luke Plano made two trips each to the winner's circle.

2-Boozer Bruiser-Drops to a level for success, major player if minds manners in an ugly race.
6-Alwaysalittlemore-Consistent sort doesn't regularly seal the deal but should be respected on consistency.
8-Place At The Beach-Thinking Longo will fire out and get a good seat, may rally late and sweep by all.

Race 8
2-Western Devil-Could get sucked around and sneak through along the inside and pop at a square price.
3-Richellu Cowboy-Camera shy but comes off a win, maybe a confidence builder and was Kennedy's choice.
5-Cenalta Eclipse-Comes off a win and makes 3rd start for Goulet at this level, will respect chances.
7-Storming D Odds-Program chalk is racing well and looks to be a major player, should be bet hard.

Race 9
2-Back Stock-Form is spotty but this isn't an All-Star cast, drops to a competitive level and gets Plano tonight.
3-Poorlittlerichgirl-Similar to #2 but can roll late when dialed on high.
5-Hairway To Heaven-ML chalk comes off best effort in a while, does need the right trip.
7-Cenalta Cougar-Wiseman's choice has only 1 win in '18 but may not find a better spot for 2nd picture.

Race 10
3-Jump The Shark-Makes 3rd start for team Plano after a sick scratch, may close the deal versus this crew.
5-Cowboy Dirtyboots-Hasn't been consistent, but Wiseman choose over 1/7 and this is a softer spot.
6-Regina Beach-Been searching a long time for a win, but last was an aggressive try and Kennedy sticks.
