Hawthorne Race Course kicks-off the weekend with a 10-race card. The feature rolls in Race 3, an Open Handicap Pace with a $10,000 purse. The Late 0.50 Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 7, it has a $10,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus.

Last night, the driver with the hottest hands was Casey Leonard, who won four of eight races on the card. Trainer Jamaica Patton led conditioners with two trips to the winner's circle.

Race 7
1-Yankee Bounty-Classy vet in from Hoosier deserves respect and Leonard steering won't hurt.
2-Best Man Hanover-Steps up after a sharp win on the engine, could be one soft quarter away from an encore.

Race 8
3-Electric Albert-Just missed in local debut, fits and should be a major player at 3/2 in the ML.
6-E R Oliver-Wasn't Leonard's choice but comes off 2 sharp wins and will respect chances for a 3-peat.

Race 9
1-Captain Rhett-Comes off an aggressive try and Lackey can keep in the hunt, likes the track.
3-Terror Of The Night-Comes off a quick win and steps up. Could trip out and score at a square price.
4-Mr McDreamy-Won here on Sunday and is another who likes the top, trip could be key.
7-Twinscreek Jack-Even effort on Sunday but will respect connections to come up with a big try at 8-1 in the ML.
8-Delight Fashion-Pace could be hot and if this guy gets good cover could roll by late at a price.

Race 10
1-Real Sheila-Will give benefit of doubt after road trouble in last and at 9-1 in the ML will take a swing.
5-Fox Valley Catwalk-3-year old season has been much better for ML chalk and is now 6 of 13 at Hawthorne.
7-November Rain-Tuned up in last for Team Leonard, don't like the short price but will respect chances.
8-Princess Oshie-Provisional driver just missed in last and with a 56.3 back half has a shot at long odds.
