Tonight, Hawthorne Race Course has a solid 10-race card on tap. The 0.50 Pick 5 kicks-off the action followed by the Early 0.50 Pick 4 which begins in Race 3. The Late 0.50 Pick 4 starts in Race 8 and has a $10,000 guaranteed pool. The Late Pick 4 is a competitive sequence and will be my focus.

Last night at Hawthorne the driver with the hottest hands was Casey Leonard with three pictures, while no trainer made more than one trip to the winner's circle.

Race 8
5-Frass Bluegrass-In form, first start off a claim for Johnson, finally gets post relief and fits.
8-E R Oliver-Can win at a square price if gets the right trip.
10-Electric Albert-8/5 ML favorite with Leonard is sharp but will be slammed and post could be an issue.

Race 9
2-Buff's Image-Been facing better at HoP, draws well and best to respect connections.
3-American Dreamer-12-1 in the ML, may trip out and is worth a swing.
7-He Gone Jack-Fine effort in last from 10-hole, if pace is hot Jack likes to roll late.

Race 10
2-Princess Oshie-55.3 back half sealed the deal, has been camera shy but comes off a lifetime best.
6-Fox Valley Catwalk-A serious threat if minds manners but is not very reliable and probably will be bet.
10-November Rain-Was flying late but couldn't snag #2, now starts all the way outside and is 2-1 in ML.

Race 11
1-Cole Heat-Couldn't make-up ground in last but a similar trip tonight with a 27.3 last 1/4 might be good enough.
2-Uptown Sleaze-Should be in the mix but needs a better steer than in last two.
5-Fox Valley Reggie-Could be a drop and pop situation in 4th start off the bench.
10-Twinscreeks Jack-Drops to a better spot and Leonard sticks. Should be in the hunt but needs a trip.
