There's an 11-race card set to roll at Woodbine Mohawk Park tonight featuring Ontario Sires Stakes Gold action. The 0.20 Early Pick 4 has a $50,000 guaranteed pool and begins in Race 4, it will be my focus.

The drivers with the hottest hands on Friday at Mohawk were Jonathan Drury and Bob McClure each with three wins. Trainer Carmen Auciello led all conditioners with three trips to the winner's circle.

Friday's Hawthorne Pick 4 ticket was correct in only two of four legs as there was a $92 opening leg winner. The $0.50 (2/1/8/2) combination paid a hefty $7,975.40.

3-Homey Joe-Should be tighter in 2nd start of the year and can beat this group with a top effort.
4-Life Happened-Will toss last dull effort, can fly off the gate and should be in contention throughout.
6-Jm Jack Of Hearts-Steps up and has been razor sharp, this will be tougher but deserves respect.
8-Trump That-A threat if doesn't get scorched to gain a good early spot, looks like a player and should be a square price.

Race 5
1-American Hustle-Versatile and comes off a strong effort, steps up but could be ready for an encore.
5-Cultural Paradise-Roy takes a seat, should start better than in last and looks like a major player here.
6-Dreamy Fella-Price shot gets post relief and is in a better spot to shine at 10-1 in the ML.

Race 6
4-Shower Play-Very impressive in Fan Hanover, same effort will likely be good enough tonight.
5-Sudden Passing-Looking for an aggressive start, becomes a solid threat with a good early seat.
8-Kendall Seelster-Slow start to 2018, but with the right journey has what it takes to pop at a price.

Race 7
1-London Seelster-Took the long way around in last and thinking Roy will work a better trip tonight.
6-Dreamfair B J-Just missed in last and pace was hot, may find a bit more to seal the deal with a smoother start.
7-Machal Jordon-Price shot finds a field that's not very deep, is due to get a trip and an overdue win.
