Sunday's 9-race card at Hawthorne features a $30,000 guaranteed pool for the 0.50 Late Pick 4 which begins in Race 6. The Jackpot High 5 carryover in Race 9 currently sits at $117,666.

Last night at Pocono two of four winners were picked on top in the highlighted stake races. What made the night was the return in Race 12. The #4-Crystal Fashion won and paid $11.20 as the 4-9 exacta came in cold and paid $71.60.

The driver with the hottest hands at Hawthorne on Saturday was Ryan Anderson with three pictures. There wasn't a trainer on the 10-race card with more than one win.

7-Philly Wellness-2 nice efforts to start his career and maybe tonight there's a little more in the tank to seal the deal.
8-Sparkle And Dazzle-Looking for better as she races back without a gap. 3-year-old fits and should be a square price.
10-Theresareason-Leonard steers and that shouldn't hurt. But program chalk isn't an automatic especially from this post.

Race 7
2-Sports Creek-This could be a drop and pop situation, facing softest group this year.
4-Shooting Straight-Oosting steers as Leonard drives for his father, this is another who should like the company.
8-Bluebird Goldwyn-Team Leonard entry can beat this group but will need the right trip.

Race 8
2-Lilac Laurey-Pace was too slow in last, tonight should be different and can rally late in an open affair.
4-My Mona Me-Has had excuses but now is in a spot to shine. Will respect camera shy mare versus this crew.
5-Frontier Red-Will toss last versus tougher, can compete here at a square price if gets a good steer.
6-Ashlees Cocktail-Mare has struggled, doesn't pass anyone in the lane. Leonard will need to keep 2-1 ML chalk in the hunt.

Race 9
1-Fox Valley Sinful-Will toss last and hope 3-year-old will mind manners, if so should be a major player.
2-Beach Shootingstar-Softest spot at this meet and that might be enough for an overdue win.
4-Shark Flipper-Was used hard in last, this is a better spot. Curtin takes a seat, could be sitting on a big try at 7-1 in the ML.
