Sunday's Hawthorne card will feature a 0.50 Late Pick 4 which has a $30,000 guaranteed pool. The Race 10 Jackpot Hi-5 carryover is currently $139,992.28. The Late Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 7 and will be my focus.

Last night at Hawthorne driver Casey Leonard led all pilots with three trips to the winner's circle. Dale Kanitz and Dane May led the conditioners with two pictures.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 7
2-Frontier Shirley-Looking for an encore after a nice win from the 9-hole, stepping up but still fits.
3-Shooting Cool-Curtin's choice over 4/8 is as camera shy as the rest but should be in the hunt.
7-Big Bad Maxine-Sheehan takes a seat and will try to keep this gal on stride, if so can pop at a square price.
10-Frontier Red-Oosting steers, needs to work a good trip but this is an open affair and will use at 6-1 in the ML.

Race 8
4-Adele's Big Party-Seekman will take a spin and at 8-1 in the ML is worth some respect.
7-Cool Casper-Looks like a main player and should enjoy the company.
10-Molina-Gets Leonard which is a ++ driver change and is stuck outside again, but best to not overlook.

Race 9
4-Island Campaign-Winner of 2 straight comes off a LT mark and could keep the streak going.
5-Jeana Rose-Will take a swing, Leonard is back, and he gets along well.

Race 10
3-Sheincrediblenasty-Has speed and a breaking problem, will use coming off a nice qualifier.
4-Fox Valley Miranda-Gets post relief and is usually in the hunt, maybe finds a way to seal the deal tonight.
8-Prettyfaceuglyways-Like others has trouble winning but is almost always in the hunt. Will respect versus this crew.
