HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park’s 10-race program will have a 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover Friday of $481,575.31.
First race post time is 2 p.m.
There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover of $14,548.79 in the first race, a five furlong turf event with a field of 11 entered (one MTO).
Multiple winning tickets with six winners Thursday on the Rainbow 6 returned $5,485.08. There was $134,846 bet into Thursday’s Rainbow 6.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow 6 has gone unsolved for 13 straight racing days following the June 30 mandatory payout of a pool in excess of $4 million that yielded a $196,953.84 payoff for each ticket with all six winners.
NOTE: Tyler Gaffalione rode the 900th winner of his career when he guided Take Your Place ($11.60) to victory in Thursday’s first race.
