The feature at Mohawk Park rolls in Race 7, the Casual Breeze Trot which has a $136,000 purse. But the real headliner on the card for many reasons other than racing comes in Race 4-Evan's Legacy Race.
Evan Leversage died on December 7, 2015 at the age of seven from an inoperable malignant brain tumor discovered before he was two years old. As the tumor kept growing Evan had a list of things he wanted to achieve before he died. Near the top of the list was having one last Christmas. So, the entire town of St. George Ontario helped Evan experience a grand Christmas celebration on October 24, 2015. Evan's story gained popularity and drew considerable attention around the world with many joining the early Christmas celebration.
The fourth race will be in remembrance of Evan, and all donations received tonight will go toward ongoing research for pediatric brain cancer. Evan's spirit lives on and with his journey in mind Mohawk Park honors him.
The 0.20 Early Pick 4 begins in Race 4, it will end with a battle between Atlanta and Manchego in the Casual Breeze. The first three legs appear competitive and there are some live price shots. It's a sequence that could pay nicely even though the two chalks look very solid in the final leg.

2-Jaydens Place-15-1 in ML with McNair, 2nd start off the bench and came home in 55.1 in last, worth a swing.
3-Life Happened-1st time Lasix off a 7-week rest, Gingras steers for Macintosh and comes off a sharp qualifier.
6-Gerardo-2nd local start and Roy takes a seat. Will respect, and maybe can get a little more push to seal the deal.
7-Hidden Delight-ML chalk has the gate speed to get an up-front seat, could be make it 2 straight.
1-Lady Bubbles-Comes off a sharp win at KD, looks like a live play at 15-1 in another competitive race.
2-Manhattan Again-Off since 8/10 but gets post relief, has been facing tough foes and could be sitting on a big try.
3-Cenalta Call Girl-Roy is back and he knows well, best to not overlook, has 7 wins in 22 tries this year.
6-Sos Bambie-Took some money and fired home in last but pace was dull so couldn't catch #4.
3-Atlanta-The Hambo champ is back north of the border versus the gals, should be able to make it 7 of 8 in 2018.
8-Manchego-Could offer a stiff challenge but may need a perfect journey and some racing luck to win.
