Tonight, Woodbine Mohawk Park rolls with star-studded stake races and eliminations for next weekend's big card. There appears to be some live longshot plays that could spice up the exotics at Mohawk.

2-Susy (4-1) - Looking for an upset, and I feel he can go with the chalk, may have better manners. 

3-The Ice Dutchess (9/5) - Comes off a jog to victory last week after breaking in 2 previous, tough if stays trotting.

5-Evident Beauty (7/2) - D. Miller comes back to drive and that should help, likes to compete. 

Race 5-William Wellwood Memorial-Purse $400,000

3-Green Manalishi S (9/5) - Impressive win in last week's elimination and will string along.

8-Kings County (8-1) - Came off 2 straight and seemed to be handled conservatively in last, best to respect.

7-Swandre The Giant (2-1) - Can't win them all and last was kind of dull, but this is the 2nd start for Takter.

1-White Tiger (10-1) - May not have been 100% in last, will use in gimmicks and with a trip can make some noise. 

Race 7-Canadian Trotting Classic-Purse $665,000

2-Mets Hall (9/5) - Made it look easy in the Simcoe from Post 7, looks too strong to go against from the inside.

7-Run Director (8-1) - In fine form, can come off cover, likes the track and with a trip can upset #2.

3-You Know You Do (8-1) - Last off a sick scratch wasn't bad, should be better and could spice up the exotics.

Race 10-Elegantimage-Purse $340,000

2-Manchego (6/5) - Was much the best in the Casualbreeze, drew well and I won't go against.

1-Phaetosive (8/5) - Should benefit from drawing the rail, can stay close and use one big brush late.

6-Atlanta (7/5) - Can't criticize much at all, has had a great year, but off last effort will lean towards top 2.
