Hawthorne has a 9-race card set to roll and the 0.50 Late Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 6. The Pick 4 has a $30,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus.

Last night at the Stickney oval driver Kyle Husted led the pilots with three trips to the winner's circle. Over the 13-race card, no trainer had more than one win. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.  

Race 6

2-Island Campaign - Was better in last and in position to get an overdue win.

5-Don't Forget - Switch to Leonard is a ++ driver change and could make this is a winning effort.

6-Shooting Cool - Racing well and in a spot shine, Bates should work a trip from this post. 

Race 7

2-Big Lou - Will toss last break at DuQ, gets a post advantage over other players tonight.

6-Illinimight - Was caught for a dead heat in last, that is somewhat concerning but tough if on his game.

8-Majistic Caprice - Tough to leave out but start will be key, likes an upfront seat.

Race 8

3-Pictonian Dazzle - Has had excuses and last was much better, could get it done at a square price.

4-Bad Bad Maxine - On 7/22 Oosting steered and it was a win, he's back and with a trip same result could happen.

8-Wishin Iwas Rich - Not reliable but Leonard's choice over #1 and #5, soft bunch and will respect connections.

Race 9

1-November Rain - ML chalk for Team Leonard is not a sure thing but best to show respect.

2-Star Of The Show - R. Warren takes a spin as Leonard chose #1, has been facing better now in a spot to shine.

9-Ideals Oath - Competitive and could be up to the tougher challenge but Wilfong needs to work a trip.
