The Red Mile rolls this afternoon with a 12-race card loaded with Bluegrass Series action. The $1.00 Pick 4 sequence begins in Race 7, it has a $10,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus. 

Last night, driver Tim Tetrick led the pilots with four wins. Trainer Brian Brown was the top conditioner with three trips to the winner's circle. 

Only three races out of four were correct on Saturday's Early Pick 4 ticket at Mohawk, so there's room to improve this afternoon.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 7 
7-Met's Hall-Should have his own way, seems to be only a clean trip away from 4th win in 9 tries this year. 

Race 8 
1-Top Expectations-Looking for a rebound performance, M. Miller takes a seat and he knows well. 
2-Hey Blondie-Made a rare break in last, likes the track and could win at a square price. 
3-Pat Matters-Figures to be a player from this post but needs to mind matters. 
6-Nixie Volo-Has been trying hard and broke through with a good trip from 8-hole, best to respect in this spot. 

Race 9 
3-Tactical Landing-Parked and couldn't clear in last and it cost the win, a big threat with a smooth journey. 
5-Eurobound-Skimmed around and came on to upset #3 at 11-1. Won't be near the price but don't overlook. 
6-Classichap-Has the speed and fits, will use instead of #2 and look for a price. 

Race 10 
2-Stay Hungry-Having a great year and should enjoy the mile oval. 
3-American History-Winner of last 3 has loved the Red Mile, should be a major threat again. 
4-Grand Teton-Likes the track and if top two falter this colt can pick up the pieces late.
