Thursday's Mohawk card will feature four divisions of Sires Stakes Gold action for two-year-old trotters. The Early 0.20 Pick 4 with a $50,000 guaranteed pool begins in Race 4. In the sequence three of four races are of the non-winners of one or two category, which can be a challenge but also rewarding. Tonight, the Early Pick 4 will be my focus. 

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track. 

Race 4 
4-Barn One-Has been racing against tougher, also gets post relief and this looks like a better spot. 
6-Westslucky Terror-Tossing last when used hard early, has been freshened a bit and fits with this bunch. 
7-Southwind Grizzly-Hoping for a good cover flow and if so can pick off foes down the lane. 

Race 5 
2-Dancin Lucille-2nd start for trainer and Jamieson is back, will take a swing at 10-1 in the ML. 
3-Sand Artist-Makes debut for Maxwell and has tuned up well. 0-19 is a concern but fits here. 
6-Abuelita Hanover-Has faced tougher and missed time before last start. Could be sitting on a big try. 
8-Highmoon Sunshine-Filion sticks and should like this crew better, will use at a square price in an open affair. 

Race 6 
3-Cindy Lynn-Raced well at this class in last, gets a better post draw than contenders and should be in the hunt. 
7-IMF-Comes off a win but looks to be trip dependent, with a smooth journey can make it 2 straight. 
9-Melanie G-Takes a significant drop and this could be a wake-up call. 

Race 7 
4-All Wrapped Up-58.1 in back half on her own in last win, will respect and should be a square price. 
5-Dream Nation-On paper this is the one to beat, faces easier and has been racing well. 
7-Southwind Avenger-Beaten chalk at Grvr could surprise, will respect connections and tries hard.
