Friday, October 26: Meadowlands Pick 4 Analysis

by Al Cimaglia

October 26, 2018

Tonight, the Meadowlands is set to roll with an 11-race card. The 0.20 Survivor Pick 10 kicks-off the program and the 0.50 Pick 5 with a $25,000 guaranteed pool begins in Race 3. The 0.50 Pick 4 sequence starts in Race 8, it has a $50,000 guaranteed pool and will be my focus.

Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 8
3-No Drama Please-Comes off a sick scratch but program chalk looks the part.
4-Divine Spirit-Scored in Big M debut off a perfect trip, this time may have to work harder.
6-Lucky Weekend-Another who won off a perfect trip, but these are 2-year-olds trotters, best to respect.
8-Battenburg-Broke in last and now Miller is back, beaten chalk could make amends.

Race 9
2-Silk Reed-Filly is camera shy but 55.1 last half and a positive driver change makes me use.
3-Airborne Hanover-May find some live cover tonight and that could make a big difference.
7-Modesty-Has good speed and could win off a nice qualifier if minds manners.
10-Someangelsomewhere-Will take a swing for a price, if Berry works a trip may surprise at long odds.

Race 10
1-Waterway-Gets regular driver back and a good post draw, should be on or near lead all the way around.
4-Melanie's Teddy-Made it look easy in 1st start after arriving from HoP, should be odds on and the one to beat.

Race 11
5-High Blue-Dave Miller takes a seat, usually does best work on a smaller oval but will consider with this bunch.
7-Pricelesspossesion-Nice try from 10 hole and now drops, this looks like a spot to shine.
